JOB DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS

1. Advisor/Editor for College Application Program

This is the pioneer college consulting program with a holistic approach to help students grow beyond the application process to become successful students in college and in life. In the program, students would develop critical essay writing skill, learn to research for insightful information about American colleges and universities, and understand overall application strategies to leading colleges and universities in America and the rest of the world. On top of such carefully guided independent researches, the students also receive expert advice on school placement, financial aid application, financial planning and visa application.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Give comments/edit  on ideas/ structures of students’ personal statements and supplemental essays
  • Give comments/edit student’s resumes and extracurricular activities essays
  • Coach students on interviewing if needed

REQUIREMENTS

We are open to recruiting both English speakers and Vietnamese nationals who graduate from 4-year colleges and universities in English speaking countries, with

  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University, preferably with majors in Philosophy, Literature, Sociology, History, English…..
  • Excellent critical thinking and writing communications skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and team spirit
  • A desire to help students learn and reach their full potential

2. Junior Academic English Instructor

The academic English program for young teenagers (aged from 11-15) aims at equipping learners with essential knowledge and language skills which enable them to achieve high results in the standardized tests afterwards. The program emphasizes developing critical thinking, analyzing and presentation skills while building the student’s knowledge about the world through up-to- date authentic materials.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Part-time or full-time basis: Instruct courses in academic English to young teenagers
  • Deliver high quality and efficient EFL lessons in line with the programs and strategic goals of Summit.
  • Evaluate and provide timely feedback on students ’ class work, assignments and overall progress.
  • Ensure the effective running of classes & a professional performance.
  • Prepare and return mid-course and end-of-course evaluation reports.

REQUIREMENTS

We are open to recruiting both English speakers and Vietnamese nationals who graduate from 4-year colleges and universities in English speaking countries.

  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University
  • Cambridge CELTA/Trinity Certificate or equivalent teaching qualification is a plus
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills
  • Confidence using new technologies in teaching and/or the willingness and motivation to learn and apply these new skills in the classroom.
  • Flexibility and cultural awareness
  • Experience working in Asia and/or a developing country.

 

3. SAT/ACT Instructors

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Part-time or full-time basis: Instruct courses in SAT and ACT
  • Evaluate students’ class work, assignments and tests.
  • Record and maintain accurate student attendance records and grades.

REQUIREMENTS

  • We are open to recruiting both English speakers and Vietnamese nationals who graduate from 4-year colleges and universities in English speaking countries, with
  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University
  • Teaching experience and/or TEFL, TESOL, CELTA… is a plus
  • Ability to exercise judgment and work independently utilizing Summit syllabus
  • Excellent critical thinking and communications skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and team spirit
  • A desire to help students learn and reach their full potential

4. IELTS/ TOEFL iBT Instructors

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Part-time or full-time basis: Instruct courses in IELTS or TOEFL iBT
  • Grade and provide timely feedback on students ’ class work, assignments and tests.
  • Evaluate students’ strengths and weaknesses and recommend appropriate strategies for improvement.
  • Prepare and return end-of-course evaluation report for individual students.

REQUIREMENTS

We are open to recruiting both English speakers and Vietnamese nationals who graduate from 4-year colleges and universities in English speaking countries.

  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University
  • Familiar with IELTS/TOEFL iBT formats
  • Teaching experience in IELTS & TOEFL IBT and/or TEFL, TESOL, CELTA… is a plus
  • Ability to exercise judgment and work independently utilizing Summit syllabus
  • Excellent critical thinking and communications skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and team spirit
  • A desire to help students learn and reach their full potential
