2. JOB DESCRIPTION
- Part-time or full-time basis: Instruct courses in Academic English to talented and curious young teenagers.
- Deliver rigorous, efficient ESL lessons in line with the programs and strategic goals of Summit.
- Evaluate and give timely feedback towards students’ class work, assignments, and overall progress.
- Ensure the effective running of classes & professionalism of performance.
- Prepare and return mid-course and end-of-course evaluation reports.
3. REQUIREMENTS
We are open to recruiting both English speakers and Vietnamese nationals who have graduated from 4-year colleges and universities in English speaking countries. Basic requirements are:
- At least a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University.
- Cambridge CELTA/Trinity Certificate or equivalent teaching qualification is a plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
- Confidently using new technologies in teaching and/or the willingness and motivation to learn and apply these new skills in the classroom.
- Flexibility and cultural awareness.
- Prior experiences working in Asia and/or a developing country.
ABOUT SUMMIT’S JUNIOR ACADEMIC ENGLISH PROGRAM
The Summit’s Academic English program, exclusively designed for young teenagers aged 11-15, aims at equipping learners with essential knowledge and language skills that enable them to not only achieve high results in standardized tests but also to increase their intellectual curiosity and capacity overall.
