2014 Loom Nam Khong Pijai (GMSARN Scholarships)

The Loom Nam Khong Pijai Scholarships are granted by the Royal Thai Government in honor of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. It aims to assist human resource development in the 6 GMS countries in any field of study related to the following 4 thematic areas: (1) Infrastructure Development (2) Energy Technology (3) Oil, Gas and Natural Resources Development, and (4) Environmental Engineering and Management.
Who is eligible to apply?
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
• Citizen of Thai, Myanmar, Laos PDR, Cambodia, Vietnam and China (Yunnan and Guanxi Provinces)
• Graduated in related fields from an accredited institution.
• Have a good education record in a 4-year undergraduate degree program with CGPA above 3.5 or equivalent.
• Have high proficiency in English (a ToEFL score of 550 or equivalent) .
Detail of the Scholarships
The scholarships provide an opportunity for student of diverse backgrounds from all countries in Greater Mekong Sub-region to study and do research work together in the truly international environment at AIT, to build a good foundation for international understanding among people of Asia.
Each Scholarship award covers tuition and registration fees, accommodation, and a bursary for living expenses in AIT's residential campus, for the entire period of 22 months master degree program.
